Hard to believe Finn is 3!
We had a great 2-day birthday celebration. On Friday, Finn and I (cbd) enjoyed some quiet time together, including a long bike ride to the park and some weather watching (he's a true DuRoss!). That afternoon we were supposed to have a neighborhood "block" party, in which all of our neighbors were looking forward to celebrating his birthday. Unfortunately, the party was rained out...but we had fun making a cake-muffins and celebrating his special day together inside.
But wait, who's that at the door? Despite the rain, our neighbors surprised Finn at the door and sang him happy birthday anyway (did we mention that we love this neighborhood yet?).

Saturday we had the real party. Lots of friends and lots of kids. Rain forced us inside, but we still had fun.

Oh my gosh this video made my day and week! He is ridiculously cute. Can't wait to see this little man in person in a few months....
So stinkin cute ~ thanks for posting the video, we have watched it over and over and over!! Selah is only concerned that he forgot Mercy called him too, hehehehe!! Happy Birthday Finn ~ we miss ya.
Sorry Papa and Mercy - you guys will have to put in some extra phone calls to make more of an impression on Finn! My favorite part is when he's talking and pushing the spatula with his head.
